On Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 16, the Chapman Orange Campus will host a special visit experience (8 a.m. – 2 p.m.) for admitted students and their families. This program is designed to provide a more personalized, high-touch introduction to Chapman through our people, our spaces, and the sense of community that sets us apart.
This event is intended to complement—not replace—our Preview Day in April. It serves as an earlier opportunity for a subset of admits to experience campus, build connection, and begin forming a sense of belonging.
For some of our guests, this will be their first time on campus. The energy they feel, the conversations they overhear, and the welcome they receive will help shape how they imagine their future here. That’s where our faculty and staff make all the difference. We will be seeking volunteers across the university to support the event throughout the day, to assist with wayfinding, greetings, session support, and general hospitality. Additional details and a formal call for volunteers will be shared shortly.
This President’s Day visit is an opportunity to demonstrate, in a very visible way, the culture of access, care, and community that distinguishes Chapman. Our Fall Open House reaffirmed that it’s the people of Chapman who leave the strongest impression on students and families, and this event builds on that momentum.
