Together with our faculty, staff are at the heart of Chapman’s commitment to personalized education and dedication to excellence. To reflect the importance, scale and value that staff bring to Chapman, the annual staff recognition event is being infused with additional significance, personalization, and meaning this year and in years to follow.
Reimagined as Chapman Family Honors: Staff Appreciation and Years of Service Celebration, this institutional event provides dedicated time for our community to come together and celebrate both individuals’ contributions and our collective impact. The faculty will continue to have their own end of the year celebration on May 15, but all are welcomed and encouraged to be present and join in celebrating at our new Chapman Family Honors event.
In addition to years-of-service awards in five-year increments, seven specialty awards have been created to recognize the achievements and contributions of staff who exhibit excellence in service to Chapman. Nominations for the Spirit of Chapman Award and the Rising Star Award categories will be accepted and considered through May 8. Save the date to celebrate staff contributions and years-of-service awards on June 17 at 10 a.m.
