Meet Chapman’s Newest Tenured and Promoted Faculty

Chapman’s latest class of tenured and promoted faculty includes eight new associate professors, one promotion to full professor with tenure, and seven advances to full professor. An additional four associate professors are under consideration for tenure. The appointments reflect Chapman’s commitment to faculty excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Chapman Performs Well in Graduate Rankings, Moving Up Double Digits in Business

Chapman University is marking another strong showing in the newly released 2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate School rankings, with several programs demonstrating continued progress and national recognition.

Final Performance Appraisals Due This Week

Staff and administration performance appraisals are due to Human Resources on April 10. Employees and managers are encouraged to reflect on accomplishments and contributions to Chapman’s goals. Employees within their six-month introductory period as of December 31, 2025, are not required to participate.

The Rodgers Center for Holocaust Education hosts its annual Evening of Holocaust Remembrance, featuring a screening of “Among Neighbors,” followed by a conversation with director Yoav Potash.

Killefer School

Killefer School Project Earns State Preservation Design Award

Chapman’s Lydia D. Killefer School Rehabilitation project received a 2026 Preservation Design Award from the California Preservation Foundation, recognizing excellence in historic preservation. The school is now part of the Daniele C. Struppa Research Park, a state-of-the-art research facility. The award will be presented at the California Preservation Conference in May.

Pharmacy Chair Earns Rare National Honor for Leadership

Emmanuelle Schwartzman, chair of the Pharmacy Practice department, received the highest honor from the Rho Chi Society — the A. Wayne Pittman Outstanding Service Award. She is only the second person ever to receive the award recognizing sustained leadership and excellence in pharmacy education.
