Over the course of his remarkable career, Mike has played an integral role in shaping the Chapman we know today. Beginning as an admissions counselor and rising to director of undergraduate admission before becoming the division’s leader, he has overseen the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, the Registrar, and International Student Services. Mike also led efforts to open the Veterans Resource Center and has overseen it ever since. Mike’s leadership has been instrumental in Chapman’s transformation from a small regional liberal arts college into a mid-sized, nationally ranked university. His efforts have strengthened our reputation and helped elevate the academic quality of our student body.

Beyond enrollment, Mike founded the men’s lacrosse program, coached for five years, and was inducted into the LA Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He established an endowment for the men’s lacrosse team and supported the growth of the women’s lacrosse program.

Mike is a trusted colleague and dear friend to so many in the Chapman Family, and I hope you will join us in celebrating his many accomplishments and thanking him for his extraordinary commitment to Chapman. We look forward to gathering on Jan. 7 to honor his legacy.

Sincerely,

Amy Rogan-Mehta
