Dear colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce a new student recruitment event that we are planning for the 2025-2026 undergraduate recruitment cycle: The Fall Open House. The event, taking place on Sunday, October 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will invite prospective first-year and transfer students and their families locally and from across the country to visit Chapman and get a first-hand sense of our beautiful Orange campus, the student experience, and our distinctive approach to personalized education.
This is our premier on-campus recruitment event for the fall and will only be offered once this year. Event highlights include welcoming remarks from President Parlow, admissions and financial aid sessions, campus and residence life tours and experiences, a Resource & Involvement Fair, and opportunities to feature broad academic areas of interest to students who are exploring their college options and looking for the right fit.
We know that our ability to get families on campus significantly improves their interest in Chapman and our success in recruiting and retaining students. We want to show them how special Chapman is and how engaged and fantastic our faculty and staff are.
This is where you come in. We would love to have an activated campus on Oct. 26, so we encourage you to participate, volunteer, or simply drop by to lend your support and welcome thousands of guests who could become future Panthers.
To get involved, please contact Associate Director Tracy Rastello in the Office of Admission at rastello@chapman.edu, and look for more information in the weeks ahead. The more volunteers we have, the more personalized experience we can provide, and positive first impressions add tremendous value to our recruitment efforts.
Thank you for your support of this important day and throughout the year, as admissions is a team sport. We realize that some of you will be giving up part of your personal time to make this successful. We appreciate and feel tremendous pride when the Chapman Family comes together for a collective purpose.
Sincerely,
Amy Rogan-Mehta
Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff
Mike Pelly
Vice President and Dean of Enrollment
