Dear Colleagues,
As we kick off a new academic year, I am so pleased to have everyone on our campuses working together to deliver a world-class education to our students. Chapman is a vibrant university with such a strong foundation, and I am thrilled by all the energy that is building as we look to achieve even more of the potential that is waiting for us.
We wrapped up the spring semester with an incredible Faculty Honors and End of Year Celebration and celebrated more than 2,700 graduates at Commencement. This summer, we recognized staff with a memorable Chapman Family Honors Celebration and capped off a historic year of giving. We also appointed new deans Chris Kim, Amy Zeng, and Antony Page and have new leadership in Student Affairs with Genia Herndon and Chris Hutchison. And after engaging with faculty at their fall retreat last week, I am incredibly excited for the year ahead.
In my second year as president, I look forward to deepening our mission as we prioritize student success, academic excellence, and all the things that make Chapman a dynamic institution on the rise. I cannot wait to connect with more of you as we welcome students back and embark on another great year at Chapman.
