What to Know for Presidents’ Day on Campus

On Presidents’ Day, Feb. 16, Chapman will host an admitted-student visit program during regular class sessions. Faculty and staff who normally park in Anderson Parking Structure should plan to use designated offsite parking and shuttle service, as Anderson B1 (upper level) will be reserved for prospective students and their families.

Faculty and Staff Volunteers Needed for First-Generation Programs

The Office of First-Generation and Promising Futures Programs is seeking volunteers to support Chapman’s first-generation students. Opportunities include mentoring, guest speaking, panel participation, scholarship evaluation, and general program support.

Internal Research Funding Page Now Live

A new internal research funding page is now live on the Office of Research website, serving as a central resource for funding opportunities and key deadlines. The next upcoming proposal, the New Research Exploration Award, will accept applications through Feb. 16 as an opportunity for faculty pursuing new educational directions.

Chapman Softball Hosts Japan’s National Team
Monday, Feb. 16, 2 p.m., El Camino Real Park – 400 N. Main St., Orange

Chapman’s softball program will host the Japanese National Softball Team—ranked No. 1 in the world—for an exhibition game at El Camino Real Park. The matchup is part of the team’s goodwill tour ahead of the 2028 Olympics.
