Chapman’s Website Redesign Underway and Moving into Discovery

The university is undertaking a massive website redesign project that will completely transform and modernize the way our primary audiences interact with chapman.edu. Working with our selected agency partner, Fastspot, Strategic Marketing and Communications (SMC) is beginning the discovery phase, which includes the research and engagement work that will guide the website’s strategy, organization, design, and content.

Over the coming weeks, faculty, staff, students, and university leaders will be invited to participate through listening sessions and surveys. A cross-university working group will also provide ongoing input throughout the project, while academic and administrative units will become more directly involved as content planning and migration begin.

The redesigned website will focus on creating a clearer, more engaging experience for prospective students and other key audiences; improving how Chapman’s programs, people and impact are presented; and establishing a more sustainable approach to content and web governance.

We want to hear from you!

Faculty and staff can share their thoughts on the current website and ideas by completing our brief survey.

The new website is currently scheduled to launch in September 2027. We will continue sharing updates, key decisions, and opportunities to participate as the project progresses.
