Facility Use & Event Policy Updated

Updates to the Facility Use & Event Policy have been approved by senior staff and include changes to how the university partners with external groups for events, how internal events are defined, how alcohol and raffles are handled at events, and many other revisions throughout. These changes are designed to keep campus events safe, consistent, and well-supported.

Support Your Student Employees’ Career Readiness

The Panther Professional Development Program (P3) helps turn on-campus employment into a professional development experience through goal setting, mentorship, and reflection. Faculty and staff who supervise student employees are encouraged to learn more about P3 and the tools available to help students build career-ready skills this fall.

Celebrate 10 years of Musco Center for the Arts with an evening of music, theater, and dance featuring alumni and guest artists, including Backhausdance, tenor Ashley Faatoalia ’06, actor and singer Kyla Stone ’20, and current Chapman students. Culture OC recently looked back at Musco’s first decade and what’s ahead as the center begins its anniversary season.

Filmmaker Alumnus Wins Humanitas Screenwriting Award

Filmmaker Omid Iranikhah (MFA ’26) received the David & Lynn Angell College Comedy Award from Humanitas for his feature screenplay Mehmooni. Iranikhah developed the script in Dodge College lecturer Robert Naturman’s ScriptGym class, an intensive workshop to help students develop and refine their scripts.
