Inside Chapman is Chapman’s employee newsletter. Its mission is to highlight the people who make our campus special, celebrate accomplishments across our community, and make it easier for employees to find the news, stories and updates that matter most.
Story Ideas and Submissions
- Please submit story ideas and news items for consideration through SMC’s Asana project request form.
- Inside Chapman will feature more human-interest stories, photography, and slice-of-life moments from across campus, along with essential information to support you in your job.
- Not all submitted stories, announcements or event promotions will appear, and some items may not run more than once. We need to maintain a balanced mix of content that is broadly relevant, engaging and useful to the majority of employees.
Events and Announcements
- SMC recently revamped events.chapman.edu, and we encourage employees to use this site to explore the wide range of campus events, workshops, and activities happening every day.
- Only select events that meet the criteria for broad university interest will appear in the newsletter.
Publishing Schedule
- Inside Chapman will publish every Tuesday.
- During summer and academic breaks, publication will shift to a lighter schedule that aligns with university holidays and closures.
Website Updates
- The former working.chapman.edu website has been replaced by inside.chapman.edu, relaunched with a new layout, more news and improved functionality designed to make information easier to find.
- Employees can find all essential logins and resources such as Employee/Manager Self Service on inside.chapman.edu.
