Chapman Receives $25.5 Million Commitment

During the Feb. 27 State of the University Address, Chapman announced a $25.5 million commitment from philanthropist Christine Cross, bringing her total giving to more than $35.5 million. The investment will expand the Christine E. Cross Endowed Scholarship and endow summer music programs.

Faculty and Staff Discount for Summer Music Camp

Chapman faculty and staff can receive a $200 tuition discount for high school students attending the Summer Music Camp at Chapman University. The camp offers students a week of immersive, on-campus music study with faculty mentors. Early bird registration closes April 1. The camp is now supported by the Christine E. Cross Endowed Scholarship and The Lloyd & Elisabeth Klein Legacy Foundation, which endows Chapman’s summer music programs and expands scholarship opportunities.

Hilbert Museum Celebrates 10 Years with Five New Exhibitions

The Hilbert Museum of California Art kicked off its 10-year anniversary celebration on Feb. 27 with the opening of five new exhibitions. The museum is now open Wednesday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., with free admission. Reservations are encouraged at HilbertMuseum.org.

MBA and Specialized Applications Now Open for Fall 2026

Chapman employees and their dependents can take advantage of tuition benefits to pursue an MBA or specialized master’s degrees in Finance, Analytics, or Accounting at Chapman University, now accepting applications for Fall 2026. Application fees are waived for staff and dependents. Contact mba@chapman.edu to learn more.

2025 Form 1095-C Now Available in Employee Self-Service

Chapman employees who were benefits-eligible in 2025 can now access their Form 1095-C electronically through Employee Self-Service. The form, required under the Affordable Care Act, provides information about medical coverage and IRS reporting for the 2025 tax year.

The composer behind the score for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will visit Chapman to discuss his career. Nine-time Oscar-nominated composer James Newton Howard will speak with Associate Vice Provost Louise Thomas. The event will be preceded by a screening of the film.
