A Forever Teammate: Chapman Baseball’s Decade of Carter Strong

Through the nonprofit Team IMPACT, 5-year-old leukemia patient Carter Ankeny became a Chapman baseball teammate, a bond that outlasted his passing in 2017. The Ankeny family joined the Panthers for a Pediatric Cancer Awareness night March 31, celebrating more than $420,000 raised for pediatric cancer research.
